It seems like something's off with Japonais. When you see Makaba, or Tolbert solo playing or Fusèe singing you can see they are happy but in Japonais eyes I see some sadness some excessive thinking it is because he is not famous like he were in the past or.maybe because he find difficulties in promoting album?

Although I don't understand much of what he's saying except the french parts. But I think he rightfully deserves to be credited with heralding in the Ndombolo style with Tutuu Caluji. He should also be credited with contributing to a different syle of solo guitar playing. Not  a fast player as Flamme but he brought something to the table. His name will always come before Flamme Kapaya.....Japonais Kiodo!!!!!!!!! (in Celeo's voice in a la queue leu leu)

it amazes me how he forgot in the most interviews his short stay in Viva Tendence of Papa Wemba with Serge Mabiala before joining Les Marquis and just after A La Que Leu Leu. Was it his most bad souvenir or what?

He is a complete guitarist but I don't think there is anything spectacular he did on the generique ''Ndombolo.'' The album was massively popular not because of his actual guitar works but because the whole album was well executed and Tutu Kaludji brought a completely different style to what we had been accustomed to,it was basically a continuation of Pentagone otherwise the guitar works were ordinary infact,the solo guitar was a bit faint on the actual generique ndombolo. Wenge Musica had already changed the style of music and on guitar works much credit goes to Alain Makaba and Maitre Ficarre and now we know that it's actually Maitre Ficarre who played most of the Wenge generiques and some of the most popular Wenge songs, Alain Makaba played the generiques  on the first two Wenge albums ie Mulolo and Kin E Bouger, plus other songs on all albums.
