Chai is a good singer who is a lazy dancer....so to make a name, he needs good dancers and singers to surround him.....by the way, if you met him, tell him to redo most of his BCBG songs in the new CD....that can push his name up.......

he says he was not attending concerts for over a month because he was sick,and roger ngandu knew he was sick and told him he would come to see him but never came
the fact is that chai was preparing an album  on the back of bcbg and his elder brother who is close to jb unintentionally informed him well before that sickness,so when they heard that  he was sick they thought it was a fake excuse to have time to prepare his album
the news of him preparing an album without authorization made jb lose trust in him,and when jb doesnt trust you anymore he wont insult you,he wont fire you,he will ignore you until you realise yourself that  you have to go
if you remember on the older forum,there is licha shombo from wazekwa who left in identical conditions
besides,in private chai was aiming to take sequin's role as chef d orchestre so seguin also influenced his departure
 but overall i would say its a 50/50 situation;jb and bcbg have their share of fault for not trying to make everything clear,and chai for  apparently habinb found a golden opportunity to fully realise his project in this situation
had this not happend,he would have stayed in the group
anyway its almost always the same stuff,musicians saying they leave simply for artistic reasons are extremely rare,they know people will have compassion for them if they say my boss did me this or that

Chai has made a good decision regardless of what happened.....it was just the right time for him to leave.....clap clap clap for him...

for sure he was very late in leaving personally i don't see any wrong doing on his part, leave the bands for the boys Ibuba is afull man now the years are many if he has not learn t how to run a group professionally then its up to him.

Now that you mentioned where is Licha Shombo and what came of the rumor he was joining BCBG ?

Licha is solo now,but struggling to fund his studio sessions as he does not benefit anymore from money coming from wazekwa's fans and sponsors
the tile of chai's album is decompte final,i dont know to translate it in english but in short he  is saying  to bcbg "give me a loyalty bonus for my departure" something like that, he has taken with him two members of bcbg's office(not musicians)

Gordon Brown cherri ya ba cherri miscalculated his moves, why leave a band to go struggle to pay simple bills thats being childish. Let him learn a hard way.
