He is lazy like shit. Who forced him to stay in Maison Mere if he was being treated badly. You simply get out. You cant stay in a band willingly and keep complaining while you ae not tied there. The likes of Fabregas, Wata and Deplik left when they felt they had enough. He should have done the same before them. This crap of he is calm and stuff does not wash any little.

Do you know who we are talking about he always vocals/songs on every album and has been there since Alerte General days,  Werra left him struggling after the Temoignage album in Kin with Kene and others and he didn't say shit, he stayed loyal, guys like Nicodem are getting cars, gifts and everything and he is getting nothing for loyalty, he did good to leave MM because Werra like to joke with people's lives (Slap to Mboka Liya, the non payment of group members in A La Queue Leu Leu era and so on).
If he didn't left yet it was because going solo is not easy as it seems, 90% of the guys gone solo loose the donors they had or they flop this is why he stayed, guys like Abel, Metrau, Bill, Ferré, Brigade and so on they would have never left if it wasn't for how bad they have been treated in the band, Fally? The same, Koffi denied the authorization for a solo album and now look how Fally is and how Koffi is, look how Ferré is and how Werra is.

What you don't see is that is not that easy going solo, especially for guys wwith wife and kids like Eboa, because solo career isn't a guarantee for having good money and good life, Heritier, Fabro, Ferré, Fally,  Deplick, Robinio are just a small minorance towards the majority of guys who went solo and finished very bad: Djino, Chai, Joss Djena, Ceden Play, Kojack Bon Bon, Kene Kene, Roi David, Prince and so on.

Manzabi you do make some sense. Not every musician is cut out to make it as a solo music star. A lot of musicians are happy just playing music and making a living off it. Their main aim is to feed their family and live a decent life ( not the flashy fake  life style of the few "stars" ) from music.

Looks like in this kind of situation a steady sober musician is taken for granted and assumed not to be important.

There comes a time when someone in such a situation decides he has had enough.

Looks like the man has decided that enough is enough and he has chosen to move on for  the sake of his family or maybe he has taken all what he can bear over the years.

We should wish him well and hope he has made the right choice.

As for leaders who do not appreciate their musicians just because they are not coniving or 'ambitious' enough....
