We all know that Le Vent du Soir was Ferre's song. But my question is if he was credited as author of the song on the cd-cover of Kibuisa Mpimpa. I had copied thr cd of Kibuisa Mpimpa from my friend, so i had not the booklet of that album.

Did Werrason, JB Mpiana & Adolphe Dominguez ever wrote a song by themselves in their solo carreers or in Wenge 4x4, because during years we heard that many songs were written by guys like Senado, Pascal Poba, Bogus Bompemba, Jules Kibens, Mosaka, Vigas, Alain Mpela, Do Akongo, Eldorado, Blaise Bula & Didier Lacoste.

adolphe does write a bit,jb and werra are poor writers but they do try sometimes on one two songs,most of the time either they buy a ready song or they give their ideas and they develop it with the writers

How bad they are ? I am curious to hear some of their songs being credited as songwriters, I honestly don't know how Werrason can be so much credited he doesn't write his own songs, doesn't know how to sing properly and have a limited amount of time while on stage.

I thought Archors clearly said Werrason and JB do not write most of the time. How did it end up being Werrason alone? Many of these guys don't write they just buy.  The issue of crediting depends on what you agree with the seller.  If I spend a lot of money on a song then it becomes mine.  Why is important is the end product.

Then that's discrediting songwriters (many struggling) universally.  You'd be shocked how cheap many big hit rhumbas were bought for.

Sometimes a band member presents a song to see what a boss thinks, then later on when they show up at the studio they find out that the boss is using the lyrics for their own song and they have to do chorus.

One of the big weaknesses of Congolese music is lack of structure for artistic property and lack of hereditary (as discussed in another thread).
