It looks likes that TItina in Quartier Latin wasn't free to do what he wanted as drummer like in Wenge 4x4 and Wenge BCBG. That he was dicted how to play and followed Koffi how he wanted to have the songs. While in Wenge he created new "passages", etc. and was always innovating with Alain Makaba, Didier Masela, and later Burkina Faso. Which always was bringing something new. Champion Djikapela & Ramatoulaye took his style and passages. Retour Riva has the beginning as Eve Sukali (with programmated drums), Zangul Zangul & Inondation starts like Comete de l'An 2000. Amie Reviens has the same start of drums like Capteine de Beneluxe and so are many other creations of Titina who were used by other drummers. With Titina being limited in his fonctions as drummer in Quartier Latin made people look up more on Papy Kakol, who had made his name with his new "kra-kra-kra" style in Intervention Rapide and the succes of Solola Bien gave him a bigger name (despite of playing only sebenes in that album).

Indeed, even though he did a great job on ADE, Monde Arabe, Danger de Mort, and especially concerts, he clearly adapted to the sound Koffi liked, which was a holistic drumming style, but sticking by the QL forumula rather than innovating.

At times I think Kakol did a disservice to modern drumming by focusing too much on the snares, which is the signature Maison Mere sound.

I find it interesting the skill of the drummer will dicate the energy of any song, which is why Koffi became so focused on having exetremely skilled dummers on rotation.

Was Titina's recruitment in Quarter Latin a choice of vanity or to spite JB Mpiana? Because he already had Cambodge, who played the style he wanted very well in Effrakata. I felt that Champion's unsettlement didn't have to happen, same with Cambodge.

I didn't even notice the similarities in Titina's drumming and Ramatoulaye's, I need to revisit those songs. The drumming he did for the album Trop C'est Trop was fantastic!

Bebe Kerozene's career wasn't as nearly impactful as I once thought it would be, he showed so much promise. When he stayed behind in Paris after ADE, it was downhill from there...although his brief stint with PPU was good

He did a good job on JDT's Eluka Makabo and Moleki Nzela. I also likes the generic he did with Junior Afula Wendo.

It was Titina himself who went towards Koffi Olomide,  after Bercy. This because there were problems between JB Mpiana and Titina. This all started during Titina's wedding party in Kinshasa. A guy donor brought Koffi Olomide to Titina's wedding party. This at moment when things went not well between Koffi Olomide and JB Mpiana. JB Mpiana saw that then Titina as traitor, while Titina didn't even invite Koffi. So from then until Bercy many things happened and Titina himself wasn't sure if he would be there. So after Bercy Titina decided to stay in Europe and thinking about his future with BCBG going to USA and Canada. So after some weeks thinking he decided to join Quartier Latin. With Koffi being very happy because he was offering Titina many times to join QL already back in 1999, but that was then more weaken Wenge BCBG. But that time it was a good moment because he knew that Champion would leave very soon.

The start of Trop c'est Trop is also a creation Titina Al Capone doing many times in concerts of Wenge BCBG back in 1999,2000 & 2001. Many drummers took his creations of Zenith 1999.
