I'm sure that Marcahouse will record several interviews if Fally lose.

I hear elements of Congolese music in his work but for the most part it sound Banku/Afrobeat. Anyways, I'll support ., Maitre Gims doesn't even have French nationality yetYet he believes he should be viewed as a Frenchman and not Congolese, smh. That’s why Congolese diaspora is currently pissed at him. If you’ve been in a country since age 2 and still denied citizenship, then it’s should make you prouder of your true origins.

Usually categories like that you find out the winner online but hopefully they broadcast it. They did have a french rap cypher in like 2013 so anything is possible with the BET awards as far as international acts.HIGHLY doubtful. Wizkid broke the glass ceiling when he had that track with Drake late last year. Other than that Afropop isn't popular in the US like it is in countries like France, UK, the Netherlands etc. I'd rather like to see our artists earn a Grammy award that has more weight and recognition than a BET award. Just my opinion.Yeah, the BET awards doesn't have much prestige in the states. Usually the big name nominees don't even show up. It's only more prestigous than the Vibe (no longer in existence) and the Soul Train awards. For Fally, it's a big coup because years ago people mocked him because he and Monsoh used to invite themselves to the BET awards (and Grammys) ceremonies just to be there, now Fally is an award nominee. It's very diffcult to get nominated in the category 'Best World Music Album'. Papa Wemba who had alot of succes with his album Emotion in 1995 with the hit-single 'Fa Fa Fa Fa' and the hits 'Yolele', 'Show Me The Way' & 'Rail On' didn't even get nominated in 1996 for that category. The same thing with the Le Voyageur-album of 1992. Papa Wemba could have done more in his world-music career, but the Congolese community didn't understand his vision and his staff complaing how Wenge & Koffi and his 'petit' Reddy were taking his place. Which made him make a return. I could have been bigger than Youssou N'dour.

The average westerner can't give you the name of 5 N'dour's songs. Congolese really overrate Youssou N'dour. Also Congolese like to blame Wemba for his comeback in the congolese scene saying he could've been bigger. But Wemba did the best he could at that level. In the mid 90's the "world music" wave was basically done. If he continued, he would've ended like Kester or at best Magic System (making clownish music) and never gave us "Foridoles", a true masterpiece. Foridoles is superior to all his "world music" albums.

If he continued, he would've ended like Kester or at best Magic System (making clownish music) and never gave us "Foridoles", a true masterpiece. Foridoles is superior to all his "world music" albums.Yes the average western listener. The same average doesn't know one of Wemba's song. They blame Wemba, because Youssou N'dour won several platina discs in France. He sung in many soundtracks of movies (Kirikou, etc.), sung the Fifa-World Cuo anthem of France '98, received many honors in several countries. Which made some people angry saying why someone who came later then Wemba in the word-music genre could have achieved so many things. Yes Magic System's music doesn't make sens but they got respect in France, Belgium and Switerland, what many African artists are looking for in Europe and never receive. They have a mixed public if they give their concerts (60% of the people being white, arab of from the West-Indies), while if other African artists perform in Europe then 80% or 90% comes from Africa. They also received many platina discs and were several times in the top10 of the French, Swis and Belgian musicharts, something what African-artists are dreaming. African artists and their public want to see their music be respected in Europe and the US. I don't really think that he would have ended like Kester. Because Reddy and Stino were holding the flag of Viva La Musica with their albums and he still had a big fanbase, giving huge crowded concerts back in 1991 & 1993 for Bracongo. His worldmusic-career boosted him more and made him tour all the continents (Asia, Europe, America,.). I don't think that his death would have created a earthquake if he didn't had a worldmusic-carreer. The other problem with Emeneya was that he didn't had major recordlabel behind him and he guys like Malembe Chante & Mabusele didn't have the succes Reddy & Stino had. Everybody (1993) was produded by Sonodisc who promotes in music in Africa and the West-Indies (Caraibes) and Latin America, the way it was promoting Koffi's albums and the public their was not used to those synthesizers only wanting Soukous
Mvulusie, Archos, CM Prince you 3 have given me the joke of the day wasn't it Fally who said we ain't got time to listen to them kie kie 1st knock out was him getting Marc House arrested while you using Naty Lokole and Nana Moduga to do his dirty work but the insults weren't hurting as much as Ferre's camp while FVicteam artists making thousands of video's nobody listens to only laughing then they get together with Caligula Koffi to attack Ferre 2nd round defeat 1eme soins Koffi called Ferre weed smoker Ferre attack back and as usual ba tantine run quickly to the justice system. Fally still feeling the lost turns to Vincent, Jazz, Terry Mombaya, Franck Stemay to minimize Ferre's status cause no one around him has the charisma, presence to be taken serious like the Marc House but these guys have also flopped as usual because a GIRL CARINE MOKONZI's was hurting more but the funniest thing is Fally has understand for the likes of Ken and Manicke who if i was a Fally's fan i would not like to be associated with because kie kie kie how can artist put 100% effort to destroy the carrier and life of CARINE MOKONZI by getting her sacked so Ken ans Manicke can get some air time cause lets face it Carine vs Ken/Manicke kie kie kie even Stevie Wonder will choose Carine. You need to watch the video below to see how Fally has now shown himself out for the real him the big hypocrite which lets wait and see kie kie
