When you say he does not have it any more which authority are you quoting? You have the right to respond to his 'finished' career whichever way you damn please but it remains your own personal taste and opinion because based on the reaction all over quite many people are enjoying Ba Esclaves!!!! Seems you are in the minority!!!

I don't care about being in the minority. I'm not running for office. I have my opinion  and you guys have yours. I don't have to check what the  majority is thinking before saying what I think about a track or a musician. This is a forum about music not a congress of the communist party.

This is basically my first time on this board criticizing Koffi. And I did not say a single word about his scandals, even though I could. I gave my opinions on this song and on the decline of his ability. You can't disagree with me but why are you getting so agitated ?

With all due respect, if you re-read my post you have quoted you will notice that I had recognized your right to hold your own personal and contrary opinion and I must respect that. So your reference to the Politburo is a bit agitated. Then I would like to respond to your point on Koffi's vocal decline. Koffi has three or even four different voices. I will use his song Washington to illustrate He can sing in a very melancholic voice(Washington 0.00-0.15 min then again from 5.47) then he sometimes croons(Washington 0.30-1.40 mins) sometimes he kind of whispers(Washington 1.56-2.10 mins) and sometimes he goes on a flat baritone. So if you have been a keen Koffi fan from way back then you will know that the crooning and baritone he uses on Ba Esclaves is not a declining voice but two of the four/three voices he has been using since the start of his career!!!
