Why did Deba O'Neil leave Quartier Latin so quickly? Koffi had so much confidence in him; he credited him as co-writer of Cameleon and choose him over Do Akongo to play rhythm guitar during the Bercy concert.
Lastly, who is Sarbatino Batracien? He is the only person credited as vocalist on Attentat that I do not know. I'm guessing he contributed as a songwriter, since he doesn't appear to have sung in any songs.
I don't know. Maybe he left because of the same reasons like Motingia Tunga, Bidjana Champion, etc. Who are were heavenly praised but then were shocked the way Koffi became angry against them just for little things. Koffi choose Deba above Do Akongo because he wanted to punish him for an interview he made and a videoclip of Sens Inverse made by himself. Dominique made an interview in Kinshasa with him talking about the songs he made in Quartier Latin and Koffi's album. Citing the songs who were credited to his name (Kot Kot, Coucou, Avion, Fois Cent, Automate, Spaghetti and Sens Inverse). Then the journalist asked him why Sens Inverse and other songs of Droit de Veto aren't promoted (Koffi made a Droit de Veto-VHS having only 3 clips Rond Point, Droit de Veto & Sens Inverse which only meant for the diaspora and not Kinshasa, because he feared that Academia could create a fanbase in Kinshasa) which made Dominique then record a videoclip of Sens Inverse on his own. Koffi was at moment in France with Aliane and Didi Stone with a guy from his staff calling him and saying fake-stories to piss Koffi off. Saying that Dominique saw as he made Koffi, etc. while he didn't do something bad and talking in a normal way about the songs. So shortly after Attentat when Koffi came quickly back to Kinshasa to prepare the Bercy-show he argument with Dominique. Dominique was so angry and wanted to leave immediatly, but Beniko, Mamale and co tried to calm him down. Then Koffi ordered the musicians, dancers and bodyguards of Quartier Latin to not inform Dominique and Popolipo that they were rehearsing at his mothers house in Binza until they went to Europe.
Alain Kabobo aka Sarbatino Batracien was a 2eme voix singer who was always dancing like a monkey and used to attack Bouro Mpela in those old VHS. He never got the chance to sing in Quartier Latin albums. In 2001 he decided to join Dakumuda's Lavignora Esthetique becoming then a keymember there. In 2007 he returned as a mineur, but he still didn't got the chance to sing in album and left in 2008 again. He's now in Europe and is a brother in christ now.
