It took me by surprise to discover that Alain Makaba was at JB's Zenith concert because I would've thought that by the time that happened, he would've disappeared! It's a shame he did! Can you imagine what TH would've sounded like with a Makaba-esque sound?!

because he was very angry,him and jb literally insulted each other before concert

This is by the way his last concert with Wenge BCBG. Here he had already totally lost the artistic direction of Wenge BCBG, because the Zenith-show was months long prepared in Kinshasa along with the TH-album while he was months long living in Europe. It was nasty the way JB Mpiana forced Alain Makaba and Blaise Bula out Wenge BCBG while in reality he isn't even the true founder of Wenge BCBG. It were Blaise Bula and Alain Makaba who founded the band and they had the guts to say no against Didier Masela and Werrason. Its for not nothing that they were calling Blaise Bula "Le Parrain de la Revolution". But lets move on,we are already 20 years further. I wonder what Werrason and JB Mpiana are thinking about the way their fanatics are arguing about the things that already happened 20/25 years ago (who being the real leader in Wenge 4x4, the split, etc.) and them also insulting their mothers, fathers, children, etc.. I think that they are mentally ill. Escpially the fanatics of Wenge Maison Mere, making memes on facebook about Adolphe Dominguez and insult him very strong while he doesn't talk about Wenge Maison Mere anymore since years. I JDT's interview with Naty Lokole and they talked about Wenge Maison Mere, but you had to see the comments of Wenge Maison Mere fanatics. They insulted him very hard while he didnt say anything wrong. They really see their leader as a god, but they forgot that JDT had already made his name in Wenge El Paris. I think that most fanatics who makes comments youtube are born in the 90s and just copy what other say while they dont even know and witnessed the story of their band.


I wonder if he made a big pressconference like when Didier Masela when he left Wenge Maison Mere, because it seems that Makaba was very silent in the press after his departure from Wenge BCBG and I don't remember any VHS on the market of him talking about his departure or him being in a VHS-compilation of interviews.

Alain Makaba is the type of person that is missing in our music and that's why we have a lot less well arranged and high quality album like it was in the 90s and the early 2000s

yes but the problem with makaba is that he cant stand egos,he likes to have full authority on artistic department,for example when jb or werra or any singer wanted to let somebody in to hear when his libanga is being done or one the singers wants to record on a cassette while recording,to motivate that person to give more money,makaba would say a very strict no,and you could argue with him for months his position would not change even if you are jb werra or masela he could not care less
and he certainly will not allow 60 people in studio like it happens these days

Maybe a dozen friends and fans can watch a session, but there's no good reason for that as many as 60 people to be in the studio. That's probably why the music today is not like before, the artist don't have strong minded producers that don't feed into their ego.

Can you imagine a producer today telling Fally that he needs to rework his song cause the first demo is trash? Lol

Kibuisa Mpimpa, TH, Droit de Veto, Solola Bien, Internet, Effrakata were recorded with those conditions having more then 60 people in the studio, etc. I remember Poison chasing away during the recording-sessions of Somo Trop in Europe.

In Kinshasa its even worser when they are recording at Studio Ndiaye or Studio Meko. Maika Munan was once so pissed off when they tried to record Nouvelle Ecriture at Studio Bobongo and he decided then to stop the recording and they went with the whole band to Brazzaville to record the album at Studio IAD.
