In what sense Sonor were forcing them out? And to what benefit? Anyway I had a Brazza friend guy who came in Italy few years ago and speaking about music he was also claiming Roga as the president and real founder of Extra Musica. I coreccted him and he just laughed. I think that Roga Riga really played his cards right and by time kinda brainwashed Brazzaville peoole and Kinshasa people (even though Congolese people of Kinshasa do not really care abiut Brazza music, it is really rare at least in Italy to hear Congolese parties where you have even Brazza music) to think that he was the king and founder of Extra Musica when it isn't like that. Furthermore his closeness to Sassou Nguesso helps. I wonder what will happen when Sassou will leave the power. If Roga will still be protected amd will still have those influences. We saw how Werra lost almost 70% of his privileges he hd with authority once the piwer shifted withthe most humiliating fact being kicked out by La Zamba for 10 years unpaid rent

Roga Roga is one of the co-founders (I think that he's the founder, since that many co-founders said that it was Roga's idea to use the name Extra Musica and that he was often in the forefront). But he wasn't the president, the president was Quetion Moyascko who was the oldest of them all with the management being Ferreol Gassackys who used to promote them abroad and Pinochet Thierry who was the secretary. Roga Roga was the "Chef d'Orchestre", but was behind the scenes controlling everything (the recruitment of musicians, the artistic direction, etc.). Roga Roga became the president after the split of 1998, but him being guitarist, made Doudou Copa & Herman Ngassaki like leaders (that's the disavantage when you are an instrumentist in the Congolese music-scene, especially since the 80's, the era that mabanga became important), while were they were recruited in 1995 and reserve-members until that Guy Guy Fall left. Despite that they were often praising Roga Roga, calling him "Roi" (King) in songs when he was about to start with the distortion-guitar in songs of Shalai and Trop c'est Trop. But it was not that he was like Koffi or Wemba, because they were seeing him as his friend (despite of his nasty behaviour sometimes, by nothing always paying them well). Roga Roga started to get fully control when just before Sorcellerie Kindoki by forcing all "tete d'affiche" out, with Extra Musica Zangul becoming from then "Roga Roga & son orchestre Extra Musica".

Sonor Digital was used for those nasty jobs to force the old guard out. Like the way Werrason was using Ferre Gola and co to force Adolphe and Masela (btw I saw Ndombolhino posting Anastasio's video on his page, about Werrason reacting on Adolphe depature in 2001, that video contains an interview Adolphe with Popol in Vita-Imana from 2004 and all people reacting bad about Adolphe in the comments and praising Werra like he did nothing wrong. I hope that they will see the original video of Adolphe being interviewed by Yves Kambala in 2000, explaining what Adjani, Bill and co did to him).

that founder thing is always unclear when it involves a lot of people from the start even if there is somebody who gave a name or started the idea i think the concept of equal co-founders is more fair and realistic,wenge extra did not start for example like quartier latin or cultura who are "also the idea coming from one person"surrounded by others
by the way i am hearing that the nouvel horizon guys are trying to convince papy jah to come back and go to europe when needed which he is not too up for,and that zaparo actually missed out on a universal africa solo contract and on proper longterm european papers to rejoin the guys,thats quite a sacrifice,very few would do that
