I listen to this album repeatedly. No favourites but Willy Blanchard is my favourites' favourite (if there is anything like that) Lol.

I have some questions about Willy Star.

1. Is this the same Willy Star who is said to have fathered a child with Fifi Mama Ministre? Coz i hear the Papa Na ChrisCross chant.

2.  If he is, then what was his piret petit about with Papa Cheri, was he one of the his private song writers?

3. He is a good singer, why then wasnt he a musician in BCBG since he was a piret petit of the leader?

4. Was this vocal "Nazalaki na ngai epai ya piret vieux Jose Ndomba, nazalaki epai ya piret vieux na ngai Oguy Kafuba. Kokamwa te soki lelo bomoni ngai epai ya Blaise Bula, ezali mingi pona koluka vie na ngai ekoma stable. Naboyi vie ya ki piret petit..." in the song Willy Blanchard aimed at Papa Cheri?

5. Did they fall out (Willy Star and Papa Cheri)?

1 yeah the same willy star
2 no he was along with bouro mpela and other guys like court jesters to jb,they'd clean his shoes,iron his clothes, go to give money to sidekick,collect mabanga money and things like that
3 he developped desire to really sing later when  he was about to fallout with jb he was just then in some street groups likes bouro
4 yeah somehow because when bouro went to latino he developped desire to also become professional musician which jb did not consider yet(you know jb and his traditional postponing of things)

Thank you. So he was around JB for a long time. Also did this album take long from recording to official release like Rendekita, since that Gemerose was not part of those concerts in Belgium. Wasn't Gemerose gone to Maison Mere by the time it was released in 2011?

 No it was released in 2008 indeed it took long,in both this one and rendekita there are songs they were already working on since 1999,gemerose was still in europe when it was out,just that blaise  did not have idea to return to kinshasa yet and since les marquis had totally collapsed gemerose needed somewhere he could perform regularly he tried jb who refused as respect to blaise then tried maison mere via kakol but werra gave him condition that he should first be accepted at la zamba

According to Willy Star when he made an interview with Ado Yuhe, he and JB fell out when JB saw him another guy in a VHS being in the public  of Wenge El Paris-concert, during the moment that JB was in Europe. Then when JB came to Kinshasa, he throw Willy out of his house. From then he became like a shegue. Then he tried to get money by working on the highway of Kinshasa-Matadi. Until that Blaise Bula took him.

I dont understand why Ado likes to delete his interviews.

I see. I think I mixed up the release dates based on the site I got the album from.

But how was the impact of this album outside of the DRC and France coz I don't remember listening to this music in my country. I only discovererd this album in 2018 accidentally on the internet. Probably suffered the same fate as Rendekita (lack of promotion).

Even became a shegue, no wonder the "ezali mingi pona koluka vie na ngai ekoma stable". From the luxury of Papa Cheri's residence to almost homeless. Must have been a difficult time for him.

Sounds like a petit reason to fall out with someone but this is not unusual with Congolese artists. Lol

i just remembered the reason it was that jb had lost good money for that time a bit over 5K which was destined to amida and he suspected him since he was one of the closest and everybody in the  house was denying and jb really insisted and amida was telling him its definitely him since apart bouro who was gone he was one of the rare who could access their room
jb understood a good time later when he had kicked him out already that it was one of his house employees who came from angola and who had barely started who stole that and disappeared
