I wonder if Eva Mabaya, Clemenstone and his Wemba's 3th wife Toutou were happy with the worldmusic-songs he gave them in return instead of rumba or that typical rumba-rock music of Viva La Musica.

Didi Kinuani & Mere Malou (R.I.P.) were lucky

If Joao Ndombele wasn't happy with Ferre giving him a sebene song, the above donors would probably be upset with the crossover songs they received.

This raises an interesting topic. Ya Mfumu, if you asked for someone to make a song in your name, what kind of song would you want? I'd ask for a song with a sebene that's longer than the rumba section.

For me it does't matter if it is a rumba or sebene-song. Because you can ask for a sebene-song, but you will risk to get a garbage song like Mopao en Or or Bana Schengen in return or a rumba-song that doesn't make sense.  The subject for me is very import. I would prefer a song that gives advice or which is about someones life. Songs like Rafiki of Koffi Olomide, Tchatcho Mbala, Destin Ya Moto and Le Grand Monsieur of Werrason, Verite Kinuani of Reddy Amisi, Jeannpy Pipina of JB Mpiana, Yoka Liteya & Buya Mayola of Defao, Etienne Mundele & J'ai Vu J'ai Vaincu of Wenge El Paris or Fondation Mundele & Moyi of Papa Wemba. Not love-songs, because that would sound gay or you will be as donor given the role of a woman while you are a man (song being orginally written about a woman, but since that you bought a song, they will replace the name of the woman with that of you).

It very uncomfortable to listen to too when they sing about a man like that, mabanga should be banned in songs

I don't like the song, because the lyrics doesn't make sense. Mustapha Tulanda must have been very dissapointed in that song. That's pure scam. You can also feel that they rushed in recorded that song. Koffi, Fally, Soleil, Gipson and co just singing names. Them then singing in the chorus that jealousy is killing in the country and why people are comparing themselves to Koffi, singing quickly that they have to wave their handkerchiefs for Mustapha.

Explain me how you can be happy with a song like that.

Yeah if I ask and pay for a song and got a song like Mopao en or in return I’d be livid.

Damn, y’all are harsh on Mopao En Or haha. Back in the day I was just happy that it was a sebene song on an album destitute of sebene in general.

Unlike other songs in that album, they probably wrote and recorded it in 3-4 hours max as a filler song to get paid

I personally would like a powerful sebene song that would be the talk of the town like Gilba, Tavé, Cap Capita, Kelvis Koyi, etc. I still struggle at times (actually a lot) listening to albums with 1 generique, followed by 10-11 mabanga rhumbas.
