They were so talented. People often say that Werrason gave them more chance to show their talents compared to Koffi Olomide. But if you look well they all just released one song in Maison Mere (except Ferre) while musicians of Quartier Latin and Nouvelle Ecriture of their time have 2/3 songs on their names.

True, but if Werra did that then they’d have got big headed and then formed their own group especially with their Ego’s.
Ive always found the talk of Koffi not giving his singers (Fally’s generation) space very strange because if you look from Attentat to Danger De Mort they had a lot of space.

It's because Koffi is from the 3th generation. Back in that era you had bands like Viva La Musica, Anti Choc and co where musicians were singing mostly on their own or release mutliple songs, while in Quartier Latin it was mostly Koffi having duets with his musicians and the musicians just releasing 1 song. A late example is Nouvelle Ecriture's album 'L, where Papa Wemba only sings on Safari, doing mabanga in the generique Extra Large and just didthe chorus in Ba Yankee with the rest of the songs being done by Nouvelle Ecriture on their own. The same for A La Une where Papa Wemba is just present on the generiques, his 3 songs and a duet Pathy Patecheko on Mazangi. While Koffi is omnipresent on all songs of Quartier Latin. This makes Koffi having automatically the mark of not giving his bandmembers properly a chance, which is not really true if you compare the first years of Maison Mere to Quartier Latin.
