At 20 45 deo brondo was explaining how he falled out with koffi for asking his passport to show that he's arrived in france legally as his first son of then turned 18  and how his vocals were removed and he had to give money back to some customers and one guy in particular caught him by the neck ready to fight him as he wanted to get his money back after not hearing his shoutout

what's up with Koffi holding all of the passports that's too much control and deo brando asking for it was reasonable too, as far as the mabanga situation is that the only source of income for artists in congo? don't they get a budget from sonodisc or whatever label fill me in on this please

leaders like to do that to keep control like you said on artists so that they dont run away(even if they actually run away in every tour)
yes mabanga and begging is the most "constant" source of income the band members have,in some bands there are a salary lets say from 100 euros to 450 500 average, either on monthly or every two three months or six month basis(in which they get a reduced version of the  total amount of their salary xnumber of months)
mabanga and begging is "constantly inconsistent" sometimes you can struggle to get money sometimes, like my good friend genta of bcbg was telling me he made 3K on a concert alone at rotana hotel which is  around 4 5 6 months of his salary
so you have equally the chance to get tiny bits here and there  and to get big money, all depends of your chance, the period, the group you are in,the good willing of the leader to allow top donors to give you...

Lol no. The leader has all the rights. The album can have your name as a musician in the credits of the album but in reality is credited to the leader, when it comes down to things like SACHEM and things like that. Koffi is not the only one doing it from Ferré to Fally, to Werra to JB they all have a person who controls the Passports or hold it themselves. That is why Celeo is/was so mad about Werra and Wenge when he wanted to leave because they hold his passport and Celeo really didn't have anywhere to go with no passport. And yes. Mabanga most of.the times are the only way a Congolese musician can eat that is why you see even songs of 5 minutes having like there words and then 100 mabangas, the musician doesn't get a cent of the group's stage money which goes always to the leader who then decided if share those money with them or not (it is almost always not and when he does even if he gets 300K the musicians will get 100 dollars maximum 200 dollars each if they are really lucky)

its from gifts in return of shoutouts, also dont forget that now there is "copy version" of expensive clothes aswell which many of them rock, back in the prime days,it was as vital as breathing to go to europe to improve looks but now its been a decade and thanks to the way world has evolved the guys look decent without going to europe and have roundups to gather gifts and go back to kin with up to 10 full bags,in some groups there are fans also who send them like a bag of clothes from europe in return of shoutout for a certain period and as gratefulness for their shoutouts

No about mabanga. Teka Diobanza had normally to sing some vocals and had alot mabanga-customers, which made him buy 2 cars. But Kabose who was his "friend" was not happy with that and went to lie to Werrason that Teka would run away. Werrason was really mad and when recording the vocals before going back to Kinshasa, he didn't give Teka the chance to put a vocal. Which mad Teka sad, Heritier calmed him down by saying that they would return a second time to Europe to finish the album that he could maybe then do his vocals (which was also true). But Teka didn't believe it and decided to run away when Maison Mere return. But when Temoignage came out he was receiving alot of angry calls from mabanga-customers and someone even threating to kill him. Which made him sing some of them in Ferre's album Sens Interdit where he particiapted as singer.

Because they want to make that artist like he is some God and they are invisible and they will always be on top. But they forget that those artists are human beings and they are just as limited as not so known artists. The worst examples are Koffi fans, Fally fans and Werra fans. I am a Werra fan but I am not a sickafan of his.

Me too huge Maison Mere fan but our fanbsse is toxic the kinda chilled and Warriors took over their spot by being way more toxic but Wenge fans were crazy. I remember when they beat up a journalist who spoke bad about Werra with Kakol cheering like a kid when he heard the news on TV and also said he regretted that they didn't best him more

That's nothing. I remember back in 2000 during the JB vs Werra-war, big journalist Thierry Pinzi critized Werrason about something (I don't remember if it was about a concert or song) and WMMM-fanatics went to burn is house. The same stuff happened to journalist Dieudonné Yangumba one or two years later. WMMM-fanatics wanted to do the same thing to journalist Djo-K, but they were stopped by soldiers.

About the beating of Patcho RFI. It was already known that he would late or early being beaten by ba Nzoi. Because Kakol already openly threatened him on youtube and he's not the only several internet-journalists went through the same situation during the Werra-Heritier war. Even the controversial Zorro Mabiala was beaten by ba Nzoi during Gloria Olangy's birthday party and Kakol just walking by and laughing. Even the guy looking like Werrason in the Vieux Jaloux was seriously beaten, ripped naked and stayed for weeks in the hospital.

WMMM-fanatics are crazy, but for whatever reason from the Ferre vs Werra, Kakol also started to get involved and openly started to threaten journalists and Ferre-musicians on tv and youtube. While during the Mayi ya Sika-era he would often do it behind the scenes. I remember him Celeo having an interview about his departure and Kakol going to that tv-channel to beat him after the show, but Celeo was luckly protected by the guard and Kakol screaming "yo ozo finga pres, ezalaka te, ezalaka te mais non". Even in WMM itself Kakol did bad stuff. Once they went to Lyon and Werrason was attacked by Koffi-fanactics who insulted Werrason. Kakol was mad, because according him Prince was doing nothing and just laughing. Kakol went to get some gangsters and those gangster went to attack Prince and also stabbed him. Prince had to go the hospital, but nobody visited him which made him leave WMM.
