exactly my feeling
many artists might consider a sabbatical until the end of the year with the noise they gonna hear lol one minute after the news broke celeo was already being tagged and targeted
like my dad would say this is a "mais ahhh" congratulation situation type  when at the same time you want to praise but you also think that you are not praising a lokua kanza type of person so your praise can contribute to something "bad"

Is it just me  or y’all think the same too … fally’s warriors or whatever they are call are the most stupid fans in this entire world ? They are becoming even worse than maison mère fans. I am sorry but I just can’t stand them

With all the stars/guest (Booba, Aya Nakamura, Wizkid, MHD, Keblack, Naza & R. Kelly) Fally had in this album and also the huge energy his label Elektra Music put to promote this album in French media, this had normally to be platinum or double platinum. Despite becoming gold after 5 years, I highly doubt that his label got the money back they spent to promote this album. Fally went to all big radio's and tv-channels when the album came, even those who never invite African artists.

How is the streaming of Tokoos II going ? and y'all that it will become gold one day ? Because it was less promoted than Tokoos I.

I went to look to the website of SNEP and there isn't any African Francophone artist that received platinum. Only gold and that are just Alpha Blondy who has 3 and Youssou Ndour who has one gold with his album and the same album becoming double gold (which isn't exist anymore in snep). I was also surprised to see that none of Kassav's biggest hitalbums became gold or plantium, all that they received in the 80s was not certified. Them only having one gold album which is from 1995 when they were already out of the spotlights.

Magic Sytemthat Congolese people and the media always started to compare Werrason and Koffi Olomidé with, saying that they are behind them, etc. All just because of them often being in the French media and making popmusic, don't even has one album that became gold or platinum. They have just two gold singles of their summer hits Bouger Bouger, C'est Chaud Ca Brule and one platinum single.

 I just checked Spotify, the highest streamed song on that album is Likolo at 10 million streams and Amore at 5 million streams. He might be able to recoup, because the label is spending less on marketing compared to Tokoss I.

mfumu i think snep does not have the full list there,and their involvement and rules changed in recent years aswell
they were not as active in the past decades  in directly being involved with the disque d'or so there are some disque d'or which they "dont recognize"  but still exist but under the past formula where it was literally between the artist the label and a "huissier" i forgot the english name i think its usher but i am not sure

What about French African artists like Booba, Maitre Gins, Niska etc.

France his their home. They have countless certifications there. Just look at the website of SNEP. All albums of Maître and almost all his singles have a certification in gold, platinum and diamond. It’s more than 3 pages long. About Booba I won’t start because he’s active since 30 years. He recently sold Stade de France out with a record-attendance without promotion in the press
