you'll never hear 99,999999999999 per cent of congolese artists thinking like that,as soon as they hit some glory everybody is replaceable and his contribution belittled in most cases,its when they lose the main soloists that you'll hear that he just interpreted the 10 reserve soloists or that its the leader who gavehim the whole generique partition with his mouth

I think that one of the reasin why Cingilese music never developed being behind Nigerian Music, Ivoirian Music all Music who were idolized Congolese music is because of the mentality that you described, for example JB despite all of the things people say about him, have form some sort of system where in theory everybody gets paid and everybody have a decent life which is supposedly what any type of company should be doing, while I will always struggle to understand why certain leaders despite being milionaires find themselves having so much fun seeing starving pere de famillle who give their souls to their company struggle. For example the thing you said about Kabyla wanting to meet with Werra Koffi and Tshala Mwana to see if Congolese music could become what streaming is now like why they messed it up? Or shit like always feeling the superior and not wanting to collaborate with the other and so on, this will end in the long run our music chance of being international if we don't start to be serious about it
