Kene Kene explaining the orgin of his nickname through his original name Mukena. He also talked about how he got coached by late Denewade and used to work at home with Lassa Carlyto. He also explained how he got recruited in the at time newly born Nouvelle Ecriture along with Pere Elanga, Pompom Miyake, Bendoson and Iboss, the reason why he didn't got a chance and left to settle in Brazzaville. After that Kene Kene said how the chorus of Marie Paul, Manda Chante & Depitcho (Armageddon-album) gave him the desire to join Wenge El Paris, how he struggeld to get a chance to do his test, the way Djudjuchet helped him, him approaching Manda Chante, but sleeping outside with his house, etc.

Then there was a point, where he talked about him losing his head, Manda Chante sending his prophet/fortune teller/pastor to him, the drama, how a journalist exposed herself that Manda Chante send her to poison him, but wasn't able to do it, because of being convinced that Kene-Kene was strong in witchcraft and the things that happened after it.

I find this story credible. It seemed that Manda Chante was feeling threatened by Kene Kene's presence.

I don't think that Manda Chante was threatened by Kene Kene's presence. They don't sing the same voice. Kene-Kene sings 2eme voix while Manda Chante does tenor.

It already went wrong from day 1, after having being accepted by Depitcho during the test and him later introducing towards Manda Chante (Manda would sometimes skip rehearshals) as a songwriter, but when coming home saying that he just wanted a place as a singer, adding that he's from Tshangu like him. I remember Celezino saying in a few interviews with Teddy Mola that Manda Chante used to give guitarists/singers coming from Tshangu (especially from N'djili) a hard time, giving multiple examples of different artists that tried to join El Paris.

I think that his pastor/prophet influenced Manda Chante. It could be possible that she said something that had scared Manda Chante or ordering him to some things. Remember what she said to Kene-Kene about his girlfriend and giving him water to throw it to his girlfriend. Also the stuff they did.

I'm just surprised about this story, because the last 30 years, Manda Chante was acting like he was a saint and a devoted christian.
