apparently they did record something, but the master was bought and thrown away by a donor of an artist on his order, then the re recorded when the generation of atshuda, equaliseur and co arrived but could not finish studio and release because of lack of funds then he started selling some of them songs to groups again

What were some of Do Akongo's songs that were given to other groups? Apparently, Do Akongo has been trying to get this group off the group since 1999/2000 – it must have been damn near impossible to start a group during those times...today it's still pretty difficult but I'm sure social media would have greatly helped him

For me I admire artists like Do Akongo, El Dorado, Koffi Olomidé, Jean Goubald and Lokwa Kanza. They can sing well, write well and they know how to play the guitar. It's a shame that they don't collaborate, Koffi should have allowed Do Akongo to sing in Group albums or initiate album collabs for the propulsion of these behind the scenes heros.
