Thats a very tricky one for me to answer,because going against the general consensus based on the legal terms and the true information that i have always got will be badly seen,1 over the moral and "moral" terms,2 over what i call the "children syndrome",there is a fair number of people that congolese have seen from a very young age and never managed to dissociate with that image,even guys like innoss b and bebe tshanda,so when they hear she has a children they automatically see the 11 old year of 2005 who would make it a world class psycho for you to have sex with and not the mother of 10 years+ later which then turns the problem to another angle of the age gap,the boss and employee  and all that
i agree with everyone he should never have dated her at 16 17,but a lot of false things were said to spice it up to put pressure,and what also saved him legally is that her mother was for that relation and even hoping he'd marry her in fact that was their first point of fallout back years ago

Even if the mother was favorable fir that relationship,  it is still wrong, JB was a grown man at the time not no 18, 20 or 22 year old kid who didn't have a brain to know that what he was doing was wrong, he was  fully grown man, a Father already who decided to let his last control him, I bet that if a 40 year old man did this with one of JB's daughter when she was 15 or 16 I bet JB would be furious about it, so yes what he did was despicable, with that said of course the family was okay, cause they were expecting money in a country like Congo so they put the morals aside in exchange for a paycheck, same reason why R.Kelly only got caught 30 years later. I know that you have a personal relationship with JB and have been knowing him for years but there is nothing that can excuse what he have done.

Exactly, plus I went to see the age of Consent lawesin RDC and what JB did is also illegal for Congolese law cause the age of consent in Congo is 18, so even for Congolese law this was troublesome
