I wonder how the association of Congolese Moms or Congolese women (don't remember the name) have reacted to JB coming to Paris, he is JB so his name will be in the news for this concert and if that is the case French media won't take long before finding about Mwana Nsuka and this seriously makes JB at risk of coming to France again

It’s really sad how Congolese poorly promotes themselves. It was a really solid project that they wasted promoting on. Our poor genre.

I was about to say that, one of the reason why Fally get so much success is rhat he is extremely organized while the rest of Congolese leaders even modern one seem to have no ideao m how to proper market themselves

What happened with Bebert Etou? A lot of musicians either complain of him or like in the NH they left cause of him what has he done?

Yes but I am regular guy, I can't know these inside things, it isn't obvious to people who don't follow Congolese music 24/7

the thing with bebert is that he thinks like an artist since he tried to be one at some point,so it clashes easily unless you play mind games with him for your mutual interest(money) and in the case of jb,he's fallen out with every single of his producers so he is not immune to responsability aswell,i think he should be more proactive, once he's got his money he'll just sit and watch you expected to do the rest, while even the big label guys sometimes still fund clips themselves or stuff like that despite the label having budgets for them, because of an urgent need which does not match the schedule the label wants for example,if you look even with nouvel horizon, they mainly release clips of generique, and jb has had 3 album generiques clps for 15 years now(mpunda, je te calcule pas, zebuka while doing 8 or something)

Naa I’m blaming Jb for this one lol he always falls out with his producers like Archos said. Him and his staff are extremely difficult to deal with, I know people behind the scenes who don’t like to do business with jb because him and his staff always asks an extreme amount or some ridiculous conditions whilst his Werra, Koffi, Fally and co aren’t as difficult.

In my opinion, if groups want to promote themselves better they need a few things:

(1) An official group page on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook – to promote dances, cries, and individual members

(2) Engaging live streams on YouTube – occasional public rehearsals, recruitments, and Q&A's regarding upcoming concerts and albums

(3) Strategic silence to write and record music – make the public miss you and anticipate your return.

Beyonce, The Weeknd, and Taylor Swift have used visual films to promote albums. Our musicians should bring back clips for entire albums and concerts, it just requires fan clubs and social media savvy team to stir interest.

A lot of the guys in admin for these groups are born 1960s and 1970s, no offense but they're not gonna be as on top of trends as I would imagine Inoss B and the younger talents...
