Something happened after Zenith of 2007, it could be Rolly Mayemba and Zoe Bella not returning to Kinshasa with the group, it could be Cindy and Koffi's relationship becoming serious, or feeling bitterness from the successful first album of Fally & Ferre.

I'm not sure what more Les Mineurs could have done to cement their position. As for Joss Diena, he should have done more to build a friendship with Koffi. I remember you mentioned that he kept their time together mostly professional, he didn't spend time of leisure at the boss like Fally, Bouro, Champion, and Sam. If you let too much distance build between you and the boss, you lose influence on big decisions even if you're chef d'orchestra.

If we’re being honest that team of Joss Jitrois Asso Guelord Rolly and co had the potential to also be a dream team but they didn’t grab the opportunity. Koffi misused that squad big time

 yeahh they should have given him a headache,its like cindy's rise caught them off guard and by the time they were making reunions to "react" their formula was too agressive and lowkey naive they went to see koffi with a lot of songs to motivate him for a group album really a lot of song almost the equivalent of today's albums,and this did the reverse effect of making fear investing in them and them moving solo just as soon at it works out
koffi takes those massive departures at heart so much until today he is rattled by sam and modogo moving back to europe from harare  while he was supposed to have had a team and half good enough to make him forget about them forever
