he's right but it also involves other factors, first mobutu's mentality of the totalitarian chief still lives on,would koffi produce people that would be potential future threats given people ultimately compare with the form of the moment, like it is today people could not care less about koffi being 70,he should have done two stade de france and feated  90 per cent of the  top franco african urban artists
would ferre and fally accept to be produced by koffi and by any failure be spoilt ears by their jesters that "vieux wana ayibi yo ngenge" and stuff like that
its something running deep, mind you even artists who are friends today we have not seen two artists getting along pushing a common dance since malewa dance probably which is nearly two decades,i see in comments that some people said  that koffi could have even taken a step back and produced them and just making money from then, but then something people forget is how many people congolese fans genuinely respect and praise and defend on daily basis when you are not active and part of the daily discussions, unless you pass away and 99 per cent of people who said you were finished put your photo on their profiles and pay tributes our music is made by deeply emotional and sensitive people for most behind their fake tough guy attitude,i am sure what got koffi going till now as an active artist is the fear of being forgotten
