He says he was soleil's pire petit from way before quartier latin,then naturally when soleil joined latino he was attending rehearsals and concerts with him to handle some "missions",then soleil did not make it to bercy,so they sat and started trying to find a solution to make it on next tours,so he introduced to him maitre ali to be his spiritual advisor and make sure on spiritual field koffi does not "forget" him next times,then maitre ali later on went to with brigade
landry is implying that he made important sacrifices possibily even human during his time with soleil,as he handled the "spiritual burden" in soleil's war with fally without naming him, and the competition with the others to be in koffi's good grace but then they falled out at some point because he was seen with football players and a guy from europe who soleil had issues with( one of the most common reason of staff/jesters being frozen out around artists)
he says soleil's solo career wont go anywhere until he comes to talk to him because he honored none of the things he promised in return of the sacrifices he did for him,because as africans when somebody has such a major type of grudge against you,it can create a strong karma on you
he also briefly talked about jipson complaining that koffi does not mention him or them but prefers to give shoutouts to people who did not contribute to quartier latin and he says he should look at himself because koffi is not stupid he is good with some ex quartier latin members because they dont talk bad about him,but him jipson in a period he was even rejecting koffi related questions or getting angry sending shots to koffi on behalf of his twin fally,but now that he sees that he does not get the reward he expected from doing that he tries to come back to koffi
