Yeah, he probably plays with some choir on sundays but he's got a studio where he records small time artists in London and he also plays rhumba concert every weekend. He's the one who recorded and played solo guitar on my friend's album.

I would say the one who made the most success as a religious singer is Carlyto Lassa. Many love him more than the others I mentioned and others mentioned.

It is true Burkina Faso is not exactly religious. Not long ago, he was part of the work of Kanda Bongo Man. Only five years ago. He still participates in Secular music but not the way he used to though.

 there is something which should not lead to confusion(which unfortunately happens) there are some artists who decide to fully dedicate their artistic skills to  the Almighty,some who talk more about His endless power and grace once  they went through soemthing serious but it does not mean they fully dedicated their art to him(the example of kusangila or even the late kester),some who often talk about God in songs and interviews despite being "on the bad side"(since too many people think not singing for God automatically means you work for dark forces) like wazekwa or even kester once again, and then there are those who do not talk too much about God his songs or interviews but go to church and so on often in their normal daily life

patient collapsed during a maison mere concert on stage,and after that was very sick but maison mere was going to bercy then, he travelled to brazza but was not taken on the list of those who participate to the concert,him and heritier wata were left behind in brazza
he was partly paralysed and was diagnosed some important damage in the brain but months after when he could come to europe with the help of his friends sam tshintu and modogo, the damage found in kinshasa disappeared so patient  thought it was a miracle of God  and decided to record a couple of songs to thank him for that
