Good to hear that you want to be a producer Shamala.

why not. when I go on my 2014 annual leave I plan to apprentice with a producer who has worked with famous congolese musicians here in Nairobi . he will tutor me on the strings as well.

Kenyan producers at shoddy or at best connen....I intend to correct this.
What kind of production do you want to do, actual studio production financing or you want to be a promoter or events ?

Depends on demand really,if there are many musicians struggling to find studios then it's a good idea otherwise being a promoter is better and you could work with your sister in terms of marketing.
Music production for many starts as something to fulfil passion not really as a business venture and if has to be a commercial studio then it's too involving, you need to identify talented up and coming musicians and make them big so you need to look at your market first.
