Sly the truth of the matter is that Zambians are getting fedup with the current Zambian music. Its the same beat and same lyrics (love songs all the way).....in pubs, some pubs, its Nigerian, a bit of Zambian and more of Congolese music now. With more sebenes, the music can come back.
Emo just give that Zambian hip hop short time and it will fade. I think what is hapening in Zambia is what we experienced here in Kenya. Alot of hip hop influence on local music about 12 years now and I can confirm that the music has died with its players, now its Rhumba everywhere in Nairobi and infact some of the clubs which stuck with hip hop are barely surviving. Back on Heritier, this music is just like African politics, when one defects we insult and call them all manner of names. The guy may have erred on some occations but all the insults here reminds me of Kenyan political defections before general elections.
