Don Pierrot Mavungu is known for the song Aspirine that Koffi dedicated to him

It made me think about the last interview that JF Ifonge did and the discussion that followed between my brother and my cousin. Alimia said that many family members of well-known people who received shout-outs or had songs dedicated to them in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s are now in hospitals fighting for their lives. JF Ifonge then claimed that it's the fault of musicians and that many died because of them.

My cousin believes that JF Ifongé is right, claiming that bandleaders used to steal their aura, through witchcraft or  by sleeping with them or when its a man, sleeping with their wives or daughters, while my brother thinks that it's due to age, as the life expectancy of black people is low compared to white people. Also many of our sisters and brothers not living healthy, many also not having a proper health insurance or refusing to see the doctor and by the tim  it becomes serious, it already being too late. He also said that the majority of them being in the 60s, which often the age that people in the community die. He gave the example how different people in Paris and Brussels passed away, who aren't even known nor being close to musicians

What are your opinions about it ?
