What is stupid about the lyrics? Just the usual campaign song and am sure Werra was paid very well. Things are different in Africa, it's unlike America and Europe were we enjoy a bit of democracy, Werra and others have no choice but to accept to do songs for the President otherwise they will be frustrated by the system through the tax man etc it is the same even for the likes of JB Mpiana who obviously is a supporter of Tshisekedi but campaigns for kabila

It's because Tshisekedi is the opposition and has nothing to offer JB now, the current President is Kabila so JB and everyone else plays cool for the cameras, they get a lot of money for such songs for the ruling President, we just have to understand that people in Africa work under difficult conditions, democracy is non existent so for their own survival,musicians pretend to be loyal to the party in power.

if you watch the rumba jb did for campaign in last election he wore a sport shirt with number 11 in the back and tried to show it but it was partly cut in editing the video,number 11 was the number of tshisekedi
part of me thinks is just coincidence the other part wonders for what purpose jb wanted to show his back and why was it only a shirt with number 11

Things have changed now,that's an old song .I hear there was an opinion poll,''60% of those who took part want kabila to carry on'' so maybe we might see new campaign songs for kabila to carry on despite his mandate coming to an end.....Anyway,the chap has done the unexpected,he's managed to stabilize the country and slowly the country is awakening ...the development is there to see despite external forces fighting hard to derail things.
I hope a new leader is identified,someone the people will embrace whole heartedly to carry on.

there is katumbi who is promising but then again politics is a too strange world,worse than  congolese music lol,you can see a brilliant guy when he is not too high up the hierarchy then the more he rises the more you see some bad surprises
anyway,at current states like in all countries who have gone through several decades with a same president,there is hundreds of guys majority and opposition included who just move away until they die and everything will be done to maintain the system so that everybody can "eat"
 i am fearing one thing,which with our sometimes "special" mentality could well happen,that thing is that those people who have massive hate for kabila would not care for years at least if the guys who comes after him completely f....s up much much worse but gets away with it ,as long as "its not kabila anymore"

Voila. Katumbi especially. He along with his brother Katebe  were so much close to our former and late President Chiluba of Zambia and with vast business interests in Zambia, they were also named in some dirty arms deals for rebels much that one Zambian airline was banned and it closed down. Katumbi's assets were eventually frozen by the Zambian State, the frozen assets included a trunk of precious stones,it was given back to him by the govt of the then next President Mwanawasa after negotiations as Katumbi was named as being behind the constant closure of the Zambia/Congo border and didn't allow Zambian trucks to enter Zambia as ''retaliation'' so the Zambian govt had to bow down to his pressure. So not only does he want to become President to help the country but for his business too.
