I never could understand how people would say they wounded or tried to copy Wenge...their sound is pretty different if not one of the most distinctive in Ndombolo/Sebens

you are right. extra is more different compare to other Congolese band since they have their own style in singing even atalaku. where did Petite Balaise go if you know. how many album he participated with musica? Petite Balaise had other alternative name?

one of the reason i always say that its because of extra musica that wenge had to step up and come out a more vibrant style(ndombolo)... you can feel the difference between plein feux  (before extra musica nouveau missiles) and pentangone whenthey actually got impacted and  even where obliged to add extra musica animation in thier  songs... ( niema koko  ..koko niema ) a pure kila mbongo signature . if you pay attention you will notice that the animation was already in nouveau missile back in 1993  and wenge repeated it in pentagone in 1996. so to me .. extra did not really copy wenge   but impacted them.

ndeko niema koko was also already used  in wenge in 1993 the problem is that some animation of wenge were used for one two years before being on cd,niema koko is from radja kula if i remember well

Glidazz Pozzi played along with Emery Mbonda on Nouveaux Missiles, Confirmation, Ouragan, Etat Major, Shalai and Trop c'est Trop. He had even a song called Karen Amour in Trop c'est Trop which was only released on VHS/DVD

Nouveaux Missiles is not from 1993, but from 15 december 1995.
Pleins Feux is a remix album from 1992, released in 1996 which contains their hits-songs from 1989. In that era they were mixing Victoria Eleison's style with that of Zaiko. Wenge Musica didn't use Extra Musica to step up their game, because they already reached the level of Pentagone after the release of Anges Adorables and they even planned to tour in the US and Europe at the end of 1994 to attack and prove Koffi and to release Pentagone in the spring of 1995. But they had to delay it to the autumn of 1995 due to problems with Saddam Kongolo Mobutu.

Niema koko niema was already animated in Anges Adorables vol. 1 & vol.2 (1994), also by Koffi Olomide in Magie and Zaiko in concerts of 1994.

As I keep insisting, why Roga Roga not go lead singing on stage then. He looks so narcissistic to me.
