My frustration curve for bcbg has been curving towards the x axis while now yours is going up the y axis. The change in my username is clear testimony that all is not well in bcbg. You all guys can target Roger Ngandu but the bigger problem is that bcbg has never evolved much over the years. The band structure has never changed with only few defections especially with singers. Look here, you have genta now who has been around since 1998...Jules kibense and Rio too and probably trabendo jd loko. Ficarre Mwamba even worse since he was in wenge musica 4x4. Now what can change in the band? As with artists not making it when they go solo its because proper talented artists like nono Fuji take 10 years to be integrated in the main band so who is going to know them? And when they finally join main band they mix with bums like Rio and kibense. Look at koffi. That team of fally....solei....mputu....gypson...mondongo....bouro etc, was no joke just like werras bill Clinton....ferre gola team. Fans and people are interested in boys that shine. If they leave people will notice them instantly.

spot on emo,but roger and jb have blame to take for not making effort to make the group attractive, believe me as charismatic as were the former maison mere and quartier latin guys, their leaders spent a lot of money and energy to make a proper promotion of them
if you look at the groups in that new configuration of congolese music especially the groups of young artists recently gone solo you'll see that their group do not lack many guys with potential to be stars, but why dont we really notice them?either they are with a leader who is not too popular yet either they are with a leader who does not have enough funds to take his group to next stage, perfect example of that is kabose

I don't think the problem it is about leaving, a lot of guys who are there from a long time like Zakoko, like Genta and so on are good, and as you see in Maison Mère leaving the orchestra by some of the old members will not lift your team up (Hèritier, Cap Lbg, and in the past Kapaya or Kimbangu) the problem is that wrong people are in the wrong places. Furthermore lazyness it is too much around this orchestra, Balle de Match should be out like for Valentine and we are on April???
If JB changes marketing strategy and start to be more consistent with the production of the album he will be the star that we all waiting for

Mampeza.....i know bcbg problems too well. What I have said is too true and shouldn't be validated. Jb will never change the color of his band until he roots out the long reigning friends.

The problem is one Roger Ngandu, I can understand this view on guys like Kibens, Rio or Seguin, but honestly in the last years when Tutu Caludji left if it wasn't for Genta ba generique piaka na piaka, some of the old guys are good some of them aren't but the main problem is one.

My point is that as you said some old elements really need to go, like Kibense, Seguin and so on needs to go but other guys like Fi-Carrè or Abraham, Zakoko and so on needs to stay, my point is that the problem of BCBG is marketing, and previously in the group I think Archos, said that Roger Ngandu is almost blocking the promotion of je ne te calcule pas, and I don't think it is JB or the guy around him said to Roger to act like this, another example always speaking about Roger, is Fusèe, Fusèe is on his 7th year in BCBG and partecipated in 2 albums in 7th years, he had a really small part on Kiyunguzuna while he needed to be more space, and now he is one of the best atalaku, Genta said that if he wasn't for him we probably wouldn't know Fusèe as we know now, and there are a lot of guys in the same position Fusèe was thanks to who? Roger Ngandu. END.
Seguin needs to go Kibens needs to go Rio needs to follow but those guys aren't the main problem of Wenge

You are forgetting one rule in marketing. Never promote a mediocre product. Either improve it or discard it for a better one. To some extent I think Roger feels like lazy to promote those bums like Rio. They have overstayed man!!!

Yes, and I saw that he is becoming even fatter, but I don't think they will never go, because they are like co-leaders to JB's eyes, but things needs to change anyway, as a WMMM fan I say that BCBG is one of the best orchestra in Congo, but changes needs to happen, I dream of a Wenge led by Fusèe, Tolbert and Metro in future

When fans are tired, they are really. I feel pity for Jb and his old bums because one day they will be stoned with beer bottles it will be out of hand. Watch this space.

Ahah I don't think he never will is too much respected, maybe JDL and co. will be bowed and will be stoned with bottles like it happened to Cellulaire, but I hope that the album will not fail the expectations

To me is not the change of the old guys, but the guys who lost their talent on the way, like Rio, and Kibens, Kibens should stay for teaching youngsters how to sing properly like he didi with Abraham, but he is taking away young guys's spot
