AHH koffi,when you are on very good terms with him you'd almost think he is an angel straight from heaven...

After all that has happened, i think all the musicians are a bit childish too. I don't think the problems they had were that grave that the guys said they should not even attend each others' funerals. I also find Maman Amazone's behaviour at the funeral disgraceful. I have also seen some videos of the other children of Papa Wemba who were sidelined at the funeral, one fine looking gentleman has been the most outspoken ,he lives in Europe and like the others simply went for the funeral but complained bitterly about the treatment they were given allegedly under the orders of Maman Amazon so Koffi just did well to avoid attending otherwise he would have been treated like Vieux Verkys by Maman Amazone.

This was after an reconcilation made by Tshala Muana, after that Koffi sued Wemba. Because Wemba accused him and other populair Congolese musicians for piracy and that didn't please Koffi, because he saw that as a threat for his carreer. Tshala Muana, Koffi and Wemba went to the church the day after that the reconcilation was made and they performed together at Bibi. But Wemba was not really happy with the reconcilation  and it did hurt him much that despite those strong polemics in the past, that his "petit" Koffi from who he helped to launch a music-carreer wanted to put him in jail. So he went straight to home after that performance and never really spoke to Koffi after that concert and he him his enemy of life (that's also the reason why he didn't invite him on his wedding) and wished if he once died that Koffi not must come on his funerals. The fake reconcilation made by Vincent Gomez, made the conflict even worser. There some rumours Koffi recorded a diss-song against Wemba for 13eme Apotre in 2014, after some little attacks in Maitre d'Ecole but he didn't release to avoid stronger polemic.





Wemba had before his death similar problems with Verckys Kiamuangana and the minister of culture Banza Mukalay. He accused them of having stole some money from Primus (100.000 dollars) which was intended for Congolese musicians who are member of the colleting society of composers and music publishers "Socoda". They decided to sue Wemba and there are rumours that he would be arrested once returning form Abidjan, if he was still alive. 

indeed what you say was right there was a complaint against bokul should he come back and before he went to abidjan there was a "diplomatic" reconciliation with verckys in front of some authorities but bokul was still angry because of that amount of money which disappeared between verckys and baudoin banza mukalayi
yes koffi did a song and its his common friends with bokul who managed to forbid him at last minute to release it

I heard also that the problem between Koffi and Wemba, became worser when Koffi stole one of Wemba's girlfriend. Whcih made him very angry.
