today i was talking with a friend at work who used to be mentioned in songs and listening to this song and he just explained to me that last time he went to kin some channels were showing archives and he watched a 2007 or so video of fally and mosaka doing interview together and talking about some songs they worked together on and they mentioned mabele saying it was not at all a song which was planned,it was when they were writing talent latent songs  that it came as that day they had no food but almost rotten mango and were writing on pieces of cement package "paper" as they could not afford a proper notebook
and luckily enough fally recorded it on a cassette and modified a bit to use in droit chemin

My issue with this song is that the second half is just mabanga. I'm assuming that this wasn't the case on the original version

He's a known homosexual, as Manzambi alluded to. All the songs dedicated to him have a feeling of "fruitiness". And a man calling a another man "Daddy" is just weird.

I always thought that he was a manager, someone promoting Congolese music in the showbizz world like David Monsoh or somewhing like that. Because I saw that he was very close to French-Congolese singer Jessy Matador. So we can say that Jessy Matador is also gay ? I remember that he was very close with Hertier Wantanabe and mentoing his name many times in his African New Style-songs and visiting Werrason's concerts for him. 






Talking about homosexuality in the Congolese music-scene, I always found Papa Wemba's song dedicated to his friend Dady Soso sounding very gay.

Not sure honestly, I think all the artists have suspect songs. It's sometimes hard to tell if it's just a song they bought and placed in the donor's name or if it's about their relations

I was listening to a Defao song recently, he referred to a donor as "le garçon minon" (the cute boy) ... and I was like "whoa, pause". He had his fair share of rumors in the past even though he has a Kenyan wife, but I just listen to his music as a fan.

I remember when Fally started his solo career, it took him a good 2 years to stop the rumors spreading about him. For some reason the Ivorian press was so obsessed with solidifying the rumor.

some nicknames are decided by customers themselves to promote them for example alino kizaza it was a way for him to attract women at bcbg concerts as they were curious to see the guy getting such a huge nicknamle
 but most of the guys who have VIP in their nickname  in songs are "on that side"
lol about beynaud it was arafat who started it and ended up being at his weeding lol
but anyways like i used to say in past posts most of those who do it consider that they have no choice if they are to live the lifestlye they want,it happens that some of their fancy cars and co come that way,and its an integral part of  the condiitions for most of those who have pacts for success

late wemba's pastor always said that wemba confessed that he tried once,as for jb like i said above it was part of the deal and in some cases you have to be introduced indirectly or directly to it by an older artist who will be like a mentor to you,there are examples even in the last three years and it wont stop any time soon
