After their concerts at bar vis-a-vis, moto na moto in bandalungwa and the liveshow at Studio Maman Ngebi on VVS. Wenge Maison Mere performed then at Zamba Playa and there their "sortie officiel". It was on the 4th January 1998.

That was the first VHS of Maison Mere I bought. I remember the way I laughed when I heard Lacoste singing for the first time. That day he wore glasses and was doing Aimelia's role on the song of Djodjo Ngonda. I also remember not seeing Ali Mbonda on that VHS, but Mpaka Lingomba (who's Heritier's spokemen now) on the conga's. I found that VHS little bit boring and was douting if Werrason & Aldophe would really succeed with those guys and Bill as atalaku (I found him then to young to be an atalaku for Wenge).

Congolese policitians are not serious. It's not normal the way they change political parties, like musicians who are going from band to band. Some have been member of 5 political parties in 20 years. Thomas Luhaka, Lambert Mende and all other politicans who supported RCD and MLC back in 1998 until 2003 need to be in prison for being  responsible for the millions of deaths in Congo during the civil-war and being puppets of Rwanda and Uganda who wanted to destroy our country so that they could get our mineral resources and occupy it so that they could annex it in the future. Nobody in Kisangani would forget the war of 6 days in 2000 when Rwanda and Uganda were fighting against each other to get the control over Kisangani, while it is a part of DR Congo. More than 1000 peoples died in 6 days.
