Honestly, the generic didn't convince me. I tought that he would come with a generic of that old Wenge 4x4-style with a strong bass-guitare, sebene of Alain Makaba's style and that typical Wenge-animation.Because of Aimelia making years long alot of noise about that, that it would be an album with 100% of the old Wenge-style. But the generic is made on that typical europe-sebene style of guys born here, nothing wrong with it...

kimbangu is not exactly the type of soloist we can expect to give the melodious wenge4X4 guitar style,but rather the copy of kapaya's faster version  he developped from alerte sous sol...i bet the other generique with mogratana will be a bit more melodious

This generique is a lot better than most of the generiques that we have heard lately. We need to appreciate good music instead of bashing it like we are costumed to these days. Now days, we don't know even know what music means. We care about bullshit instead of actual quality music. For once, not too much auto-tune that we hear from many artists these days.

I give a 10/10 in today's music standards but overall it would be 8.5/10.

Its shows how limited he's as solist is. An Caien Madoka and Dally Kimoko would adopt to the style of the artist they are playing for. If they are invited by somebody of the school of Tpok Jazz they will play on the style, if they are invited by somebody from Clan Wenge will play like they are Alain Makaba and Fi-Carre, when Papa Wemba invites them of an artist from Viva La Musica they will also play in that style, the same for artist coming from Zaiko and those who make Soukous-music.
