Was Fally a part of Quartier Latin at this time? I didn't see him dancing with the others at the 1hr 40m mark.

Most of those men dancing I don't recognize other than Jordan Kusa and Roi de Soleil

Fally and Lola joined shortly after this, those guys dancing are jordan, soleil, sarbatino alain kabobo, eric lokombo, chikito mutakatif, arca dinheiro and others they were then the second team of ql before most of them got put into the main team

This was after having participated to Bisso na Bisso’s concert at Zenith and receivig his gold record for Loi. It were tense days for Koffi. The press didn’t praise him for his shows at Olympia and Zenith while JB & Werra benefited from it later despite the departure of Adolphe, Masela, Blaise & Makaba. The press were the whole time attacking him for his beef with Papa Wemba and h not  paying his musicians well enought because of Academia, but they didn’t that Sam, Somono, Modogo were better paid then the musicians of Cln Wenge and other bands who not even getting money for months. The musicians of Clan Wenge and Viva La Musica were giving false impressions with cara and expensive clohtes. It was unfair from the press to keep praising JB & Werra more than Koffi, who was opening the doors of Olympia, Zenith & Bercy. Who were before his difficult to plan concerts at. JB & Werra’s shows at those musichall were more supported, praised and promoted then those of Koffi by the press of Kinshasa.

I knew that Bercy was first planned for the 15th January 2000, but didn’t they first planned it for September ‘99.

Most of the press blindly followed the fact they had to be either pro jb pro werra and focused on that,but then with time and the fact koffi was friend with most tv owners it changed with time

As much as I love Wenge, I feel like a ambitious musician would have been treated better if he joined Quartier Latin than Wenge Musica (BCBG or Masion Mere).

A lot of those artist suffered injustice because of tribal preferences, women, money, and petty gossip under Clan Wenge.

With Koffi, it seems like you're only phases people out if you touch his dancers, you're bested by new member, or complain about salary.

tribal preferences ? BCBG most artists are from Bas Congo and Bandundu. In Maison Mere there were Baluba, Bangala, etc. Quartier Latin was mixed. Werrason's favorite musicians was Bill who was a muluba and Ferre Gola who's a muyombe. Nobody in those bands suffered from tribal preferences. Tribalism was something which was outside the bands with policitans, donors and those stupid fans.
