lol, Koffi so bad. Why doing that to Rocky Blanchard ? Just because of hearing that he would go to Europe with Zaiko. On the end Zaiko ended up by not going to Europe, because of Koffi sending letters to embassadies of Belgium and France claiming that Nyoka Longo used to a Mobutist which made those embassadies denying Zaiko visas for months and Koffi mocking them that they were local.

Hmmmm so there were alot of musicians of QL who wanted to Zaiko. I remember Dolce Somono saying in an interview that Koffi promised him to buy a car for not having joined Zaiko after their perfomance in Gabon '98. I wonder what Jean-Marie Motingia was feeling when Koffi left him behind for the recordings of Loi after having joined Quartier Latin freshly from Zaiko. Back in those days he was Lofombo the most famous bassist in Congo. I guess that he decided to leave Quartier Latin immediatly on that moment and return back to Zaiko. I hope that Ado Yuhe will interview Popolipo. Because I want to know why he left Quartier Latin in 1997 for Zaiko. But I think that he will refuse like Suzuki.

What Pathy Bass said about Binda Bass is true. He wasn't on his and Rocky Blanchard's level. Binda Bass was very lucky imagine if Rocky Blanchard had the visa to go to Europe, then Binda would not have performed at Olympia & Zenith. But Koffi didn't need Blanchard already from the beginning. If he didn't do that nkisi to Binda then Koffi would left Blanchard behind in Kinshasa for the second part of their big Africa-tour of Loi.

Isn't Binda Bass related to Koffi in some way? Because when I heard Pathy's playing on Loi, I was almost certain that Binda's days were numbered. Pathy had those densely anthemic basslines made for big speakers at concert halls while Binda's playing was more jazz infused.

After Academia, Binda still was slacking in my opinion. Clovis brought an avant garde style to playing strings on Attentat that I really enjoyed, it disappointed me to see him go after Bercy. However from Force de Frappe onward, Binda started to incorperate a more live sound to his style which won me over with his playing on Effrakata.

Rocky Blanchard knew better, Koffi is a petty guy. He should have left when he was blocked from participating in Attentat

I always thought that he came after V12 while Quartier Latin used to rehearse for Ultimatum. He got things confused. Binda was there since 1 and a half year when he go to Europe in 1997 for Ultimatum & the first recording sessions of Loi. His voice make me think of Baby Ndombe's. 
What is he doing now in Europe ? I heard he was the only musician who didn't have to do jobs like Suzuki,Modogo,Serge Mabiala,Aimelia and co to survive in Europe.

He said towards the end that he work for a hotel. He plays sometimes with Kassav.
