Usually Congolese artists get their money from concerts, mabanga and albums while western musicians (even if sometimes no) have a good chunk coming from savings, concerts amd especially CD Sales and streaming.
How are these Congolese artists going to eat? I mean a guy who get 100 dollars here and there from his leader how is gonna gkve those kids he has something to eat?

having to beg to donors,or ask the leader if the leader is kind enough to give something
i dont know if they have already made it effective but  last time i talked to eclipse he was saying he wants to implement a system in which each of the musicians of their group would put 100 dollars from either their salary or from their donors roundup into envelopes for each of the 40 members then in case their leader is gone to europe for a while  whenever needed they'd get money from their envelopes(which by months of saving would become a decent amount)
