Why didn't Regis Touba participate in Ouragan? If I recall, he tried to join Wenge BCBG but I'm not sure if that's true. Was this before Extra Musica International or after Z1 International?

I didn't know Alain Mpela was being pushed out BCBG, I thought JB and him fell out because JB thought Koffi was trying to poach him like Titina

yeah but it was before jb was suspecting him already while at the beginning alain just stepped in to defend a case of his brother bouro with koffi but koffi liking him a lot took it a step further,also  some of the luba donors of bcbg were not too keen on a mongo becoming like a second leader they wanted one of their own

He was left behind in Brazzaville, because he had exams. Extra Musica was then on tour in West-Africa, then suddenly the war started in Brazzaville, which made it impossible to return. They spent some weeks in Guinee and their manager Ferreol Gassakys trying to get visa for them to get in Europe. They came with that team to Europe (without Regis Touba who was then one of te keymembers and Sonor Digital who used to Espe’s back on the bass-guitar). After recording Ouragan and a few concerts in Europe, they returned and not long later after that Extra Musica split with Regis then choosing Quetin’s side.

Yeah, he left Z1 after war about leadership against Durrel and decided to form his own band. He recorded an EP which had Zaparo de Guerre on the animation. But the EP, which made people say that he isn’t a real leader with some saying that it would be better for him to rejoin Extra Musica or joining a band in Kinshasa to get more experience. He choose Wenge BCBG, which was a very bad mistake and JDL (always him) giving him a hard time
