She was a gospel singer in a choir, and got discovered by Sébastien Zola Tempo and she signed to his label. She has collaborated with Mbilia Bel, Ferré Gola, Reddy Amisi, Zaïko Langa Langa, Jean Goubald and more.

Her version of "Ibodo" is now featured on many American and European compilations.
