ferre was talking about rumba and its evolution and gave examples and isaac threw in the tchatcho type of rumba and ferre said  its not rumba and going by the views you can tell it shocked people and he'll have plenty of his diamba thing,but tchatcho is indeed a style of its own koffi himself said in his recent interview in france with actu du net that that style was born from "failure to reproduce rumba" and that  he was proud that it became a style played in almost every group
if you take ferre's words instantly you'll be like WTF is he saying,but technically,tchatcho is a genre a lot of people struggle to understand,some people even automatically call everything done with programming tchatcho even if the shape is odemba or fiesta done with the modern stuff
tchatcho is indeed different from rumba,because it has its style of what we consider rumba,its style of agwaya/zebola,its style of sebene too
odemba and fiesta have their distinct characteristics which never change,while tchatcho can go from a song like robot to bilan to fouta djallon,to those songs with manu lima,to nyataquance it is quite wide compared to the main genres odemba and fiesta(assuming some even consider that odemba is the only real congolese rumba as inherited by ancestors since fiesta has a lot of foreign influence at times while odemba is typically african)

(If there is not already) somebody who has time should if possible do a thread on what rumba is as a genre and the different strands like odemba and fiesta, influences etc it would be much appreciated

I will say that Tchatcho started with songs like Rue d'amour, VIP...
