I don't think that there would be an artist from DRC that will the reach the huge impact that King Kester Emeneya had in Congo Brazzaville followed closely by Papa Wemba. His succes and impact was very huge there and he was very loved, even in the days when he used to live in France. I think that his impact there was bigger than in Kinshasa. Emeneya would often take those sapeur-lines in Kilari and Kikongo cite them in his songs and never forgot to give them a big shout-out (Bana Mavoula).

This album is very rare. There was a band from Congo Brazzaville called Viva Mandolina and there's a singer named Roger Lutin (RIP) sings just like Emeneya and I think it's was bolhous loupino last album.
