he's been quite honest with himself bro shamala
long story short,he is saying that he was about to disband his group and start having playbacks because his musicians were not on same wave as him, some would skip months of rehearsal and things like that so he decided instead of forceing things  just for  the sake of being  a band leader its better  to go back to bcbg where there is a certain discipline, and he said his return from the first rehearsal alone kibens told him from the first minutes that he was far from his best level and he admits that he got complacent with leader status and ,sometimes just coming and watching the guys rehearse like most leaders do,so he's developped a certain lack of rhythm and he is happy to have noticed before too late and he'll fix it
so unconsciously with the disrupted chemistry within his group and the leader role he might  have lost some motivation to work hard which is why going back home could be the best thing as he wont  have time to relax
So according to Congolese Music's history is over for him as a solo artist? Because no one has ever made 8t as a solo artist by going back to the group. To be honest youngster of today should learn how to beat make and use session musicians it is expensive and useless to being all those singers, bassists etc.

That’s not true what about Lacoste? Lacoste went back to Maison Mere and made it as a solo artist. Just because Mfumu spoke about Bouro returning to QL three times doesn’t refer to everyone else

Lacoste just had 2/3 after Bonioma and then lost it. The first years as solo also didn’t go well, people then saying that he left Wenge MM to quickly because of Fally.

There isn’t any artist that made it after return to band. All big artists left and never came back. The only artist to have succes after going back to a band is Bozi Boziana. But he went first through two bands before going solo. First Langa Langa Stars, then Choc Stars. He had crazy succes with Choc Stars (1983-1985), then Anti Choc (1985-1990) becoming at some point the bigeesr star of Zaïre and later on sharing his light with female singers until that he starting lost it in the late 90s despite the recruitment of Kabose, Theo Mbala, Chamberton, Lokombe, Corean Polystar and co.

Come on Bro. Lacoste? What have Lacoste did in all these years to be at the level of Fally, Ferré, Fabregas and Heritier?

It doesn’t matter whether it was 2 years or not, Success is success at the end of the day. When I went to Kin Lacoste was popular and his music was playing, he had a good run for about 4 years. if it’s longer then 1 year then it’s a success. It’s like some people talk about Adolphe being successful but if we’re honest after he left Maison Mere he only had a good two year run. Don’t get me wrong Lacoste is a clown at times but we can’t deny he gave good music.
Let’s be honest Fabregas is nothing special, his solo career took off thanks to social media and Mascara going viral when Koffi, Werra, Jb, Fally and Ferre weren’t releasing generiques as much and people were looking for someone to be the third behind Fally and Ferre and it worked.

No one is denying that Lacoste has good music. Niekese os a good song

Even his C'est par la, la solution.

Is a good générique but we have to be honest. Lacoste simply hadn't had a successful solo career the way Heirtier, Ferré, Fabregas etc. did we can also say the same for Deplick but Deplick is at least trying and it is for other reasons that he doesn't succeed. Even Celeo had some songs of milion of views it doesn't mean that he is successful
