the defao kabila rumour shows that once congolese people decide to believe a rumour even if yourself the person involved you step in front of them and try to explain they will not believe the contrary

So that explains why Defao had different dancers in the Tremblement de Terre-video clip recorded in Ivory Coast ( Chouchouna Herady, Brigitte Lisumbu and one who used to dance for Jolingo Kiezowa) then those who were dancing the videos of Sala Noki and Copinage. If it happened to Fally, Heritier and Ferre it would have created more problems and guys like JF Ifonge making multiple videos about it.

Now after more than 20 years, I'm happy to finally understand why Jo Poster decided to leave Big Stars. Its strange that the albums of Solange and Mbuyama are nowhere, while it were the first hits of Big Stars. Sad that there still not any footage of his first concert at LSC in 1994, his two concerts at S.O.B.'s in New York in 1999, Montreal '99 and the Copinage-clips on youtube.  I noticed that when they are two bass-players in a band, the reserve bassplayer never want to admit that they were reserve, while its not a big deal. Everybody knows that Guy wa Nzambi was the main bass-player of Big Stars. I don't used mean that JL Bikunda is bad bass-player. He's one of the best.

I'm surprised to hear that it was Defao who brought the late Willy Nkosi "Beyi Canto" aka La Guerre de 100 Ans and Luke Bubangi back to Europe. If it was an other bandleader they had to be slaves of him and would mad of them supporting Papa Wemba later. It was a big mistake from Defao to not return immediately to Kinshasa after Nessy de London instead of getting stuck in Kenya to wait for visa's and getting humiliated multiple times there, must be something spiritual. I'm sure that his impact would grow even more if he returned back and a big rivalry getting started against Koffi Olomide, with who his relationship wasn't good anymore behind the scenes.

I excepted people in Ivory Coast, Benin and Cameroon paying big tributes to him, for all records he set there in their stadiums back in 1998 and 1999 and maybe see rare images of his interviews there. But I'm surprised to they stayed quiet.
