Audio cassette of Koffi Olomidé's concert at Cine Palladium backed by Victoria Eleison of King Kester Emeneya. Back then Koffi didn't had a band and hadn't reached the dimension he would get in the 90s.  He was often giving concerts along with Victoria Eleison and sometimes Choc Stars until the creation of Quartier Latin. Even after the creation of Quartier Latin, he would sometimes associate bands like Zaiko Langa Langa for big events.

I can actually hear the voice of 'Le Geant Makolin singing on Ngonda.

Yeah, it's Makolin. I didn't hear it well, when was listening it for the first time. Had to guest at home and was listening to it like Congolese people say "likolo-likolo".

It's like Koffi don't like to talk about his past, the way Rigo Star, Emeneya, Pepe Felly Manuaku, Pepe Kalle, Bozi and co used to help him in his first years as artist. Recently he was mad against Djuna Djanana, just because the way Djuna said that Emeneya used to coach Koffi and him how to sing better and the way he used to have concerts in Brazzaville with Viva musician. Koffi tried humiliate him in his interview with Ado Yuhe. A few years ago he went to Ivory Coast and they made a compilation of videos from 1987 to 1994 for him and he felt really embarrassed.

Hmmm, I sometimes recognise that as well. I remember an interview when a journalist asked whether the late Emeneya taught him how to sing he denied it.

I replayed this concert over 20 times!
