Tabu Ley came from an era were they were making 45 tours vinyls who had mostly 2 songs or sometimes 4. It was on rare occassion that they were making albums with 8 songs. When artists started to make albums of 10 songs he was already over his top and in exil because of having problems with president Mobutu. There's one album that he made in 1971 just after performing at Olympia that has various songs where all artists of the 3th generation took atleast 2 or 3 lines from it for their own songs
Koffi Olomide has multiple classic albums on his name not only V12; Loi, Noblesse Oblige, Koweit Rive Gauche and Effrakata that makes him different from other artists of his generation. Not mentioning that was making classic hitsongs every year from Diva in 1985 to Monde Arabe in 2004 which makes it impossible to have a wedding without alteast 5 songs of him being played and classic groupalbums he recorded with Quartier Latin (Magie, Affaire d'Etat, Force de Frappe & Ultimatum) that not only had a big impact in Congo but also around Africa. Ivorians, Kenyans, Gabonese people knowing songs like Inch'Allah, Miss Nicole, Dulcinée, Sens Inverse, Magie, Stilla, Ultimatum, Calvaire, etc.
