This is the famous concert where Koffi left his musicians behind. Also this was the concert that pushed further the creation of Quartier Latin Academia (now known as Academia). Also during this time, Beniko Popolipo went to Brussels to do his solo album which led to a major fallout and pretty sure a permanent one between him and Koffi Olomide.
But another note, there was Rigo Star (rip) who played in replacement of Beniko as a guest musician. Sadly, Koffi Olomide and Rigo Star had a major fallout as well after Koffi's 1999 album Attentat which was the last time that Rigo collaborated with Koffi. We will never really know what led to this two men falling out.
I think this had to be in January 1999 not 1998.
