I have organized a concert for Renato Mondele recently to Italy. They played some very good tunes with the band, let me share with you some moments:

Can somebody explain Renato Mondele's artistic background, I understand he's mainly a guitarist. But, what big projects has he been involved with for example. thanks in advance

He was a solo guitarist and composer in the Big Stars of Defao in the 90's. I don't know how he ended up there, though. He was present on albums like Sala Noki. He went to England at the beginning of the 2000's with other Big Stars Members. During the 2000's he also appeared as soloist for Kanda Bongo Man. At the moment he keeps together a big circle of musicians in London, some of them are former Big Stars members. He didn't play in other big bands as I know.

Man that album with Padou Machine X was spectacular. Has he not recorded any albums of that caliber?

I have been recording a proper album with him and Mboka Liya that recalls the atmosphere of the 80's 90's but I have run out of funds and the project is on hold with half ready stuff. I don't know when it can be finished.
