The interview scared me when CPP revealed that Papa Wemba came to rehearshal of Bendoson to get Ramazani's guitar and when walking down from the stairs, saying that they had to use witchcraft if they still wanted to succeed. From that moment also everything going wrong. Ironically, in the interview Papa Wemba did with Serge Kayembe at barbershop Mina,  he said that Bendoson, Pompom Miyake and Ramazani must not use witchcraft if they want to go far. The video was on Ina Congo's channel, but sadly dissapeard, otherwise I would have posted it.


CPP explaining how he already used to make music with Thierry Mogratana and Dady Bola in Masina and them already having played partition of the Kolo Histoire-generique, made me think about former'Victoria Eleison drummer Signore Depatra Uomo's interview, saying that the succes Quartier Latin, Nouvelle Ecriture, Victoria Eleison, Maison Mère and BCBG made at Olympia, Zenith and Bercy are normally that of their childhood bands of different areas of Kinshasa (Kasa-Vubu, Yolo, Matonge, Bandal, etc.). There's a point where CPP said that the name came from Tshala Muana, when visiting Bendoson during a rehearshal, saying that he had not to forget to record a song for CPP (LD Kabila's party) and giving CPP 50 dollars. I always thought that CPP had something to do with communism or a party in Russia.


It was funny to hear that people from Lemba weren't taking Laviniora Esthetique serious despite Dakumuda having massive support from multiple donors coming Lemba (for example late Hugo Tanzambi). No wonder that they never really made it as a major band.

Hearing CPP saying that Dakumuda had a poster with him sitting on a leopard and below being written "avec la benediction de papa wemba" but papa wemba saying that he had to remove his name from the poster, made me wonder what problem Dakumuda had with Werrason. I surprised to hear that Burkina Faso briefly joined Laviniora Estheique. I only knew about Adjani (who went quickly back to Maison Mere after getting threatened by shegues) and the dancers Dona Beija, Bébé Bercy and Bête Sauvage (Bébé Bercy and Bête Sauvage returning in no time). I was also surprised to learn that the shots CPP fired in the generique were not against their rival Rombaut Tunani but against Werrason.
