Roger Ngandu said that JB Mpiana’s event at Theatre de Gymnase Marie Bell meant for December 31this cancelled. He gave the explanation that JB asked the concertpromoter (Badive) to look for a bigger hall, saying that they could not perform at such small hall after many years of absence, adding that the hall itself is not really appropriated for music. He also said that the concertpromoter did his best to find another hall for December 31th, but everything was already booked.

Reacting on Roger Ngandu’s words, it’s a bit strange that the are coming with this after some weeks. Making seem like it’s all because of the concertpromoter. I don’t think that a concertpromoter would organize and promote an event without informing the artist itself. I think that it’s because of the pressure from fans that JB or his staff asked Badive to look another venue, also seeing that Werrason is performing in a big hall and people mocking JB on social media for picking a small hall

If you know jb well you'll easily know jb does not care at all about playing bigger halls at all costs otherwise he'd have two more zeniths already,he likes so much to be in his own world that playing at 800 seats gymnase for 100 dollars ticket is enough for him to kickstart a tour
he even said it himself in that interview with papy mboma that if he returns to europe tours it wont be for competition with anybody and he'll pick a normal hall

After Werrason survived the car accident, I feel like JB felt like he was given an out of competition. He can just do music to satisfy his core fans but no longer service the fanatics for BCBG or Masion Mere.

Unless his team really pushes him, we shouldn't expect any announcement for Zenith or similar sized concerts.

now he does not even rehearse for long like 10 years ago when sometimes he'd pop up at rehearsal before everybody and complete the 8 hours
