I'm really dissapointed in this interview. I excepted that it would be like the one Thierry did with Felix Wazekwa and Ferre Gola.

i was about to say the same thing koffi took this interview exactly like all interviews, always the same two three main points,i am the boss i decide, they should say what did i do to them and so on,what should have been a chill interview quickly turned defensive for no reason and he is even lying now that academia was a non-event while he held grudge for more than 2 decades "nga makambu na mona na musique oyo, batu bakimaka na poto mais nga bakima nga na tanzanie"
it was fantastic till that point where he almost cried talking about mama amy then from when thierry started mentioning kester reddy and co and past stories he gradually became more and more defensive, even though sometimes he'd joke here and there

looks like koffi is really grateful to ferre for being literally the only of the giants or the big ones from the generations below him koffi in the rumba scene to stand by him in the storms, a lot of people think its just a petty spiteful move using ferre as spare wheel but they forget that first and foremost koffi is a huge admirer of ferre along with the big love he has for fally,i think the real killer of quartier latin is how he could make the maximal use of the two singers he loved the most in that generation,he certainly did not lose sleep over junior and co staying behind

off-topic, but did someone follow the interview that Ado Yuhe made with Marc Tabu & Addy Londole ? There’s a point where he say that he will bring the stuff with dancers back, once the war will calm down. When he said that, it brought me back to what some Koffi-fans were claiming that he was among the guys that were backing the former dancers to made a complaint against Koffi.
